C1 A Grano Seal 5 Lit Agar Stone Floor Sealer, is a hard acrylic sealer, suitable for marble, granite, terrazzo, slate, concrete,  and other stone Floor, it is water base emulsion which adheres strongly even to smooth terrazzo, Granoseal may be used as sealer & finish or it can be coated with 3D-GLOSS

GRANOSEAL is a glossy clear sealer which has extra strong adhesion to marble, granite, terrazzo, slate, concrete, and all types of stone floors. It enhances the appearance of stone and terrazzo floors, and protects them from the wear and tear of foot traffic whilst providing a non-slip coating.

Environment

GRANOSEAL conforms with all statutory

environmental requirements. It is based on safe

ingredients selected to perform efficiently so there is

no waste or damage. GRANOSEAL is non-flammable and

contains biodegradable surfactants. Containers are recycled

wherever possible.

Product Use

GRANOSEAL is a colourless, crystal-clear, non-slip sealer

designed for application to stone floors. It can be used as an

all-in-one sealer/finish or as a base for CONCOURSE 3 or

TRAVERSO. GRANOSEAL is a water-based liquid emulsion

that dries within 20-40 minutes to a glossy, hard-wearing

plastic film which is highly durable and mark-resistant. It can

be buffed with both conventional and UHS 2000 rpm gas

buffing machines and is strippable when removal is necessary.

Product Type

GRANOSEAL is a glossy, clear sealer which has extra-strong

adhesion to marble, granite, terrazzo, slate, concrete and all

types of stone floors. Even marble floors with a glass-like shiny

surface can be sealed effectively with this sealer when normal

sealers just flake off. And it still looks terrific late in the

afternoon even after heavy traffic.

Technical Data

Properties

COLOUR – Milky white liquid.

ODOUR — Faint ammonia odour

pH = 8.5 ± 0.5

Slip Resistance

GRANOSEAL passes the Slip Resistance Test under dry

conditions as specified in AS/NZS 4586-1999. It gives a mean

Dynamic Coefficient of friction of 0.70.

Application

􀂾 Strip adhesive, factory-finish, built-up wax or polish and

dirt using an Agar Polish Remover even if floor is new.

New floors should always be stripped prior to sealing.

Whilst a new floor looks clean, it is covered in a

protective film added at the time of manufacture. New

floor sealer will not adhere to this film, so it must be

stripped.

􀂾 Rinse floor, allow to dry and fringe-mop to remove dust.

􀂾 If floor is very porous, add white vinegar to the rinse

water and wet the floor fully before picking up.

􀂾 Make sure floor is completely clean and dry, then mop

on one coat of GRANOSEAL. Allow to dry and become

fully tack-free. Mop on further coats of GRANOSEAL

and allow to dry. We recommend at least 4 coats be

applied to a stripped floor (2 coats when used as a base).

􀂾 Apply topcoats of CONCOURSE 3 or TRAVERSO if

required.

􀂾 Maintain the floor by washing with AUTOSCRUB and

buffing to remove any traffic marks if present. This will

guarantee a beautiful shiny stone floor.
