11 TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION

Health Effects:

Acute -

Swallowed: Very low toxicity but may cause irritation of the

gastro-intestinal tract.

Eye: May irritate eye. Some cases of blurred vision have been

reported for a similar product. The effect was reported to be

of short duration and left no lasting effects.

Skin: Mild irritant. Repeated or prolonged exposure may lead to

moderate irritation.

Inhalation: High concentrations of mists may be slightly irritant

to the respiratory tract.

Health Effects -

Chronic

: 90 day inhalation studies in the rat

have shown a mild multi-focal degeneration of the olfactory

epithelium. No other chronic effects were observed.

Toxicity data: Moderately toxic to Fathead Minnow 18-24 mg/L

96 hr, and Daphnia 115-150 mg/L 48 hr.
