Persistence and degradability:
This product readily biodegrades on exposure to light and air.
Mobility:
This product is mobile on dilution, risking contamination of
waterways, grasslands and soils.
Advice: This product is regarded as harmful to the
environment. It is recommended that extreme caution be
taken to avoid discharge to waterways, grasslands, and
areas with native flora and fauna. Precise effects on
biological organisms are not known.
13 DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS
Disposal methods:Empty packaging should be taken for
recycling, recovery or disposal through a suitably qualified or
licensed contractor. Care should be taken to ensure
compliance with national and local authorities. Packaging
may still contain fumes and vapours that are flammable and
harmful. Ensure that empty packaging is allowed to dry.
Eliminate all sources of ignition – no smoking. Take
precautionary measures against static discharges. Incinerate
under controlled conditions if permitted by local authorities;
otherwise disposal must be in accordance with local waste
authority requirements.
Containers: “Empty” containers retain vapour and product
residue and may, therefore, present explosive and/or irritant
vapour hazards. Drain all containers and allow to dry by
ventilation to remove liquid and vapour. Observe all
safeguards until the container is cleaned, reconditioned or
destroyed.
Special precautions for landfill or incineration: This product is
NOT suitable for disposal by either landfill or via municipal
sewers, drains, natural streams or rivers.
