CAP-IT-OFF

11 TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION

Health Effects:

Acute -

Swallowed:

Irritating to the gastro-intestinal tract.

Eye:

Irritant to the eyes on prolonged contact.

Skin:

Continuous skin contact with the undiluted product may

cause swelling, redness, blistering or dermatitis. At the

correct dilution, Cap-It-Off is as gentle to the skin as most

soaps and is less alkaline, however, repeated skin contact

should be avoided.

Inhalation:

After using Cap-It-Off, the foam dries to a brittle

residue which must be vacuumed off the carpet. This residue

may form dust particles, the inhalation of which should be

avoided.

Health Effects –

Chronic:

Repeated skin contact may lead to

drying and irritation and could ultimately cause dermatitis.

Toxicity data: Not available for mixture.

Data for main ingredients:

anionic surfactants – oral LD50 (rat) = 1100 - 2000 m/kg

on an active matter basis.
