11 TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION

Health Effects: Acute –

Swallowed: May cause slight irritation to the gastrointestinal

tract. No other information available.

Eye: May cause discomfort. Prolonged contact causes slight

irritation.

Skin: Brief exposures are not expected to cause any reactions.

Inhalation: No effects expected because the only volatile

matter is water and perfume.

Health Effects: Chronic – none known.

Toxicity Data: Not available for mixture. The surfactants in

Laundry Detergent have exhibited low toxicity in toxicological

tests (acute oral LD50’s in rats of approx. 1200mg/kg on an

active matter basis).
